WWE RAW 11th September 2017

Roman Reigns vs. Jason Jordan

After mocking John Cena for having difficulty with Jordan last week, Reigns found himself on the wrong end of suplexes from the “rookie”. Reigns would put him through the paces as Jordan’s frustration grew with each near fall. With Reigns able escpae a Crossface, a trip by into the ringpost proved to be the turning point, and Reigns would put him away with a Spear.

Winner: Roman Reigns

The Monster is provoked

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman returned to RAW to set the stage for the Universal Title match for No Mercy. This sent Braun Strowman on a beeline straight to the ring only to leave Lesnar is disbelief when he popped up from a German suplex. Strowman planted Lesnar with a chokeslam before a thunderous Running Powerslam, leaving ‘The Beast’ is his wake yet again.

A future little A-Lister

The biggest blockbuster of The Miz’s career came in his wife Maryse’s announcement that they were expecting their first child. Unfortunately Enzo Amore decided to interject but let his big mouth get him a first class beatdown by The Miz and Miztourage.

John Cena vs. Braun Strowman

A rare look of intimidation covered “The 16-time World Champion” face as he found out first-hand what Roman Reigns already knew. But down never out, Cena used Strowman’s own momentum against him and pulled off an AA. But the big man was looking to make another painful statement with steel steps and drove Cena down on them with a Running Powerslam.

Smackdown Live 12th September 2017

The Usos (c) vs. The New Day – Smackdown Tag Team Title Street Fight

These rival teams went to war once more, this times with entire arsenal of weapons at their disposal. It appeared as though Usos would retain with the Double Uce splashes they regained the titles with at SummerSlam, but when Kingston sent Jey crashing through a table, the champions reign came to an end with the Midnight hour.

Kevin Owens attacks the boss

Mr. McMahon returned to Smackdown Live to confront Kevin Owens’ threat of a lawsuit with the promise of firing him. He instead offered KO a match against Shane McMahon inside Hell in A Cell, but with Owens getting the bosses word he could abuse a McMahon if provoked, Owens took full advantage and decimated the WWE Chairman.  

WWE NXT 13th September 2017

Pete Dunne (c) vs. Wolfgang – United Kingdom Championship

Dunn established dominance early with some methodical joint manipulation. What Wolfgang countered with sheer power, Dunn retaliated against with sickening strikes. Wolfgang even pulled out some aerial tactics but no matter the strategy Dunn rose to the occasion, and did so one final time with the Bitter End to retain.
