WWE RAW 4th September 2017

John Cena vs. Jason Jordan

Jordan stepped up to possibly the biggest challenge of his career thus far in the “Face That Runs the Place”. For never having stepped foot in a ring with Cena, Jordan displayed a high aptitude for countering some of Cena’s signature offense. But even with an athletic edge, experience was the prevailing factor and Cena put the Jordan away with an AA.

Winner: John Cena

The Miz (c) w/Maryse & Miztourage vs. Jeff Hardy w/Matt – Intercontinental Champion

With the ejection of Miztourage and Matt Hardy, Miz took advantage of an opening but it was Maryse that assisted him avoiding a potential match winning Swanton Bomb and a Skull Crushing Finale moments later allowed him to retain.

Winner: The Miz

Braun Strowman vs. The Big Show – Steel Cage

A double reinforced ring barley held these two monsters at bay as they went to war once again, forcing each other time and again into the cold steel. Show came off the top with a thunderous elbow drop but another trip by both ended in a superplex. But with the ring in tact Strowman rose to his feet and put Show away with a Running Powerslam.

Winner: Braun Strowman

Smackdown Live 5th September 2017

Kevin Owens pushes Shane McMahon too far

Before KO could interject himself as a special guest referee, Shane McMahon was through with the games. Owens however was serious when he insinuated that Shane should have went down in a legitimate near fatal accident, pushing Shane into a blind rage, an action that by the end of the night resulted in him being suspended indefinitely.

Randy Orton vs. Shinsuke Nakamura – Winner gets WWE Title Opportunity

Nakamura was forced to rethink his usual strategy after nearly succumbing to Orton’s best offense. Nakamura made up ground with his educated feet but a superplex by Orton left both near their limits. A brilliant counter to the RKO and did so once more with a backbreaker before nailing the Kinshasa.

Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura

WWE NXT 6th September 2017

Kassius Ohno vs. Hido Itami – No Disqualification

With the rules no longer in effect it appeared as though the odds were naturally in the favor of an unrelenting Itami. Every blow built more and more hostility, which spurred Ohno into a vicious series of strikes. Ohno avoided another low blow and happily returned the favor before landing a final rolling elbow.

Winner: Kassius Ohno

Asuka addresses her future

For the first time since successfully defending her Women’s Championship at Takeover: Brooklyn III, “The Empress of Tomorrow” returned. William Regal revealed that negations were ongoing for her ascension to the main roster which meant she would be stepping down and bringing her near six hundred day reign to an end.
